Intimate Wedding at The Farm at Glenwood Mountain
There’s something incredibly special about small, intimate weddings—where every detail feels personal, every moment lingers a little longer, and love fills every corner of the day. That’s exactly the kind of magic that unfolded at The Farm at Glenwood Mountain in Vernon, NJ.
Nestled in the rolling hills of Sussex County, The Farm is a hidden gem—a working organic farm turned wedding haven, surrounded by wildflower fields, forest trails, and panoramic mountain views. It was the perfect backdrop for a celebration that felt as warm and grounded as Michelle and Vaughn themselves.
In the bridal suite...
From the very start of the day, the energy was peaceful and intentional. With just their closest family and a few dear friends in attendance, the couple shared a quiet morning getting ready in the cozy farmhouse on-site. The bride slipped into a delicate lace gown while soft sunlight poured through the old windows. Her bouquet, foraged and locally sourced, was filled with beautiful wildflowers —simple, organic, and elegant.
With the groom...
Meanwhile, just across the property, the Vaughn was hanging with his guys—surrounded by laughter, music, and a lot of love. Mike was there to have a calming presence and hype up Vaughn before the ceremony. It wasn’t long before the whole group was gathered around, adjusting ties, and trading stories. It felt like home—laid back, lighthearted, and full of family and friendship.
The Ceremony
The ceremony took place just beyond the farm, with the mountains and farmland as the beautiful background. They were just two people standing in nature, surrounded by love. Their vows were heartfelt, and full of emotion. There wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd.
The party begins...
Afterward, we wandered the farm for golden hour portraits—just the two of them, walking hand-in-hand along the dirt paths, stealing kisses in the greenhouse, laughing as as the pigs were rollin in the mud. It was quiet, intimate, and real. The kind of setting where you don’t need much because the love speaks for itself. While the bride and groom were getting their portraits, the guests mingled in the garden area for cocktails.
Dinner was served in the barn, with long wooden tables decorated with flowers and candles. The farm-to-table meal was prepared on-site by the farm’s own chef, using ingredients grown just steps away from where everyone gathered. It felt more like a dinner party with loved ones than a traditional wedding reception—and it was perfect.
Just warmth, connection, and the feeling that everyone was exactly where they were meant to be.
The Farm at Glenwood Mountain is more than just a venue—it’s a place where the land feels alive and every wedding feels personal. For couples dreaming of a slow, intentional, and heart-centered celebration, it’s truly something special.
